Walnut pie is a Greek sweet with a taste of the mountain and probably of the winter.
In the summer, however, it can obtain a cool summery presence if it is served appropriately. We choose a round baking pan to bake the walnut pie, the syrup must be thinner, and after we take it off the pan we serve it on a platter with an ice cream scoop upon each triangle shape slice. We can choose vanilla or kaymak or even chocolate scoops. Avoid ice cream made from dried nuts or fruits. Sprinkle a lot of walnut and serve it. Cut into triangle pieces.
