How to select and store a melon
We select a melon that is heavy which means it is not hollow, that is, it does not have a large cavity with the seeds.
It should not have cracks, bumps, alterations, and especially spots of green or brown.
Wash the melon very well because there is a risk of transferring bacteria inside it.
Cut the melon when we need to consume it. Otherwise it may lose its vitamins and especially vitamin C.
After cutting it we always store it in a plastic or closed glass container in the fridge.
