Creme Brulee

The original recipe

Velvety, cool taste, summery and loving.

It is done easily and quickly with simple and cheap materials. It creates a happy mood with the aroma of burnt caramel and we can decorate it with fresh orange, strawberry, forest fruits or even cherries or sour cherry sweet.

Nana, beloved friend and award-winning Chef, gives us the easiest version of the dessert that is loved by everyone.

    Step 1

    In a bowl, we whisk very well the egg yolks with 110gr of sugar, until they are almost "white".

    Step 2

    We put the cream milk, the 110 g sugar, the milk and the vanilla in a non-stick pan. We open the natural vanilla in half lengthwise and we remove the seeds with a knife.

    Step 3

    We open the kitchen hob and at a moderate temperature heat by stirring the milk mixture with a wooden spoon at regular intervals until it reaches boiling point.

    Step 4

    We remove from the heat and take a little of our mixture with a ladle and throw it in the basin where we have beaten the yolks and stir constantly so as not to "cut" our eggs. We continue to do this until we empty the mixture into the basin.

    Step 5

    We put the mixture back in the pot and open the kitchen hob.

    Step 6

    We stir constantly with a wooden spoon until our cream starts to coagulate slowly.

    Step 7

    We empty the contents into refractory bowls, after passing it through a sieve.

    Step 8

    We put the bowls in a pan and bake in a well preheated oven at 100°C for 40 minutes in the air.

    Step 9

    This quantity is for 8-10 bowls.

    Step 10

    We take them out of the oven and leave to cool.

    Step 11

    Then we sprinkle with granulated sugar and burn with the flamethrower, but be careful not to burn.

    Step 12

    In case we do not have a flamethrower we can put the bowls back in the pan and put them in the oven on the grill at 200°C for another 5 minutes.

    Step 13

    At the same time we prepare orange slices and decorate together with a leaf of apple geranium.
