Ingredients

FOR THE DOUGH
1 glass lukewarm water
1 glass olive oil
50 gr baker’s yeast
5 glasses soft flour
1 pinch salt

1 waterglass walnuts chopped
1 wineglass almonds chopped
1 glass sesame roasted

1 glass Brown sugar

Agnopies with almonds, walnuts, and cinnamon – Dreamy and healthy taste from our kitchen!

The kosher sweets have a distinct aroma and flavor. There is an entire absence of any dairy contamination. Predominant is the presence of nuts and golden-yellow honey. We pass by the traditional halva or the common sweets of the spoon and we travel to Crete, the macrobiotic diet.

The Agnopies are a tasty treasure since it has an epic combination of almond and walnut. Almonds are a rich source of calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E, magnesium, fiber, proteins that create emotional fulfillment. They flood antioxidants and have no cholesterol. Walnuts and honey are also vitamin bombs that you will meet by referring to the honey-walnut recipe.

FIRST MAKE THE DOUGH

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and pour the flour slowly

We knead firmly and as soon as the dough unsticks from our hands it is ready.

Allow the dough to rest in a warm place.

Cut ten circular balls.

We take one ball and open it a little bit with our hand to fit in the filling.

In a bowl blend all the ingredients of the filling.

Take two tablespoons of the filling and put it in the middle of our dough.

Close the filling sandwiched between the dough.

With the rolling pin open the dough a little bit pouring a little flour into the rolling pin for more convenience

The center of the dough is filled with the almonds, the walnuts, the sugar, the cinnamon and all the fragrances.

Fry in warm olive oil by carefully turning with the tongs on both sides.

On a platter place an absorbent paper and reel off the Agnopies in order for the excess amount of oil to leave.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and pour on fine honey.
