20 ml olive oil
140 g butter
50 g Stevia
1 vaniline

160 g eggs

380 g flour
8 g baking powder
100 g almonds finely chopped

A sweet temptation without calories

 

The “Agortikos Sineterismos Stevia” (Stevia Agricultural Association) cultivates stevia in Fthiotida. It is a group of ex-tobacco producers who decided to innovate by  importing the Greek stevia to the market, which is suitable even for diabetics.stevia,στέβια, φυτό, φυσικό,γλυκαντικό

Stevia can be a sugar substitute. It doesn’t contain calories and is not subject to chemical processes like other sweeteners (aspartame, etc.). Also, it is a natural product, absolutely safe, without the side effects and calories of sugar. For these reasons, stevia is suitable for diabetics, vulnerable groups who shouldn’t consume sugar. Since stevia has zero calories it’s appropriate for those who follow a healthy lifestyle as well.

In the past few years, the cases of corpulence and diseases related to eating, have increased due to bad eating habits . Healthy eating habits should start from a young age and continue throughout our whole life.

Sotiris Laskaridis, Vice President of the Archi-confectioner Club of Greece, prepared the easiest recipe for almond biscuits with stevia.

In the mixing bowl add the ingredients from the first mixture and whisk them for 5 minutes until they foam.

Add the eggs and whisk them for another minute.

Add the third mixture, the flour, baking powder and almonds.

Whisk them in the mixer until the dough detaches easily.

We make round shaped balls with the dough at the size we wish.

In a baking pan, we line a parchment paper and place the biscuits.

We press lightly with our palm and give a shape with a fork.

Brush them with the egg and bake in a well preheated oven at 180° C for 10-12 minutes depending on the size.
