Biscuit cake with cream and jelly by Afroula

A touch of sweet coolness

Everyone likes cookies like crazy and depending on our tastes we can use whatever kind of corn cream we want from vanilla to banana or chocolate as well as any kind of jelly we like and whatever fruit we like. Furthermore, if we want the taste of the jelly to be more intense, we can add a glass of ice water and a glass of frosted juice.

It is very easy and we can let the little ones do it. If we don’t have fruit at home, it doesn’t matter and without is also fantastic.

We can also use whatever biscuit we want as a base, I like it more with savoyard but it becomes just as delicious with pit-ber or Miranda Papadopoulou or even digestive.

The choice is yours and Afroula gives us the recipe that is perfect…

Steps

1
Done

In a saucepan, prepare the vanilla corn cream as indicated in the instructions, but add 1 litre of milk and only 4 tablespoons of sugar.

2
Done

Mix well and if you want, add a little vanilla for more aroma. It needs attention in the mixing so that the cream does not clump and we leave it to cool a bit.

3
Done

Put the cookies in the pan and brush them with milk and sprinkle them with cognac or liqueur.

4
Done

Pour the cream and spread the surface with the mariz.

5
Done
1 hour

Cover with cling film and leave for 1 hour in the refrigerator to cool well.

6
Done

Prepare the jelly following the instructions on the package.

7
Done

In a bowl, pour the jelly powder and first pour the hot water and mix well until the jelly dissolves. Immediately after, add the ice water, stirring again.

8
Done

Allow the jelly to cool slightly.

9
Done

Once we take the pan out of the fridge, we put the fruit of our choice on the surface of the cream.

10
Done
for about 2 hours

Pour the jelly all over the surface and leave it in the fridge until the jelly thickens well for about 2 hours.

11
Done

Remove from the refrigerator and cut into pieces.
