Easy recipe for amazing sandwiches

When all schools start it’s perfect time  for the most amazing brioche buns that everybody likes for which we give you our recipe.  The younger and the older students would enjoy amazing sandwiches, small or big ones as they’d prefer. They are homemade, fresh and extremely delicious at a low cost.

The cheese would be a perfect match for a brioche bun. Not to mention you could add some cold bites such as ham or even omelette.  It’d be a filling meal for children during school hours.

You may wrap them with cooking foil or aluminum paper to make school breaks between classes tastier.

By following the same recipe, you can also make them with crystal sugar or even stuffed with jam, nuts or even spoon sweets cut into small pieces… that will accompany with mum’s coffee or tea.

In a bowl, add 70ml lukewarm water and melt the dry yeast while stirring lightly.

15 minutes

In the mixer put the flour, the salt, 6 eggs and the yeast mixture. Use it at low speed for 15 minutes.

Slowly add the butter and the sugar alternately. Stir to homogenise butter and sugar in the dough, in order to have a soft and glossy dough from using the butter.

Cover with plastic wrap and let the dough rests for 1 hour in room temperature.

Divide the dough into 15 equal small balls.

Lay a baking sheet on the pan. Place then buns at 2cm distance with each one to avoid getting them stuck while baking.

10 minutes

Let the dough rest for 10 more minutes.

Whisk the egg in deep bowl and add 10 ml of milk.

Brush the top of each bun with the egg mixture.

15 - 17 minutes

Bake in a well preheated oven at 170 Celcius for about 15 – 17 minutes.

Remove them from the oven once they get a golden colour and let them cool without covering them.
