A recipe for delicious, fast and easy buns
At Naxos, in Naxos Palace hotel, famous for their breakfast, I tasted the finest buns. My tasteful memory, in collaboration with Spyros, made a miracle and by adding the dough with oregano and green olives instead of black, we made great buns.
We replaced Graviera Naxos with a slightly spicier kefalograviera cheese and the result was excited.
You can add sun-dried tomatoes by replacing olives or even capers.
When I go to Naxos, I will ask the hotel Naxos Palace for their version, so get ready for a second authentic recipe.
Our recipe … if you like, you can also make delicious sandwiches with cheese, tomato or prosciutto that go mad.

Place the flour, baking powder, salt, olive oil, oregano and fresh butter in the blender bin and stir with the hook at low speed for 5-7 minutes.

Then add the lukewarm milk and stir for another 10 minutes until you get a soft dough that is elastic and easy to work with.

Remove the mixture from the bin and add the chopped olives by kneading the mixture a little with your hands.

Divide the dough into balls of 50 grams.

Open each ball in a 1.5 cm diameter stick and pass it over to the grated Kefalograviera cheese and roll it until the cheese sticks.
