Ingredients

500 gr. pork tenderloin
salt
Freshly ground pepper
1 pinch οregano
1 pinch red spicy pepper
1 stick rosemary
1 clove garlic whole
100 ml olive oil
1 onion cut into thin slices
1 tbsp flower honey
For the frying
2 dry onions
1 pinch of salt
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
For the BBQ sauce
1 dry onion
salt
3 cloves garlic
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Ginger freshly grated
3 tbsp Brown sugar soft
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Worcestershire sauce
soy sauce
1 tsp tabasco
150 gr. ketchup sauce

A favorite and unique flavor… Colors of celebration and joy. Everybody likes it and its made from pork tenderloin, red pepper, aromatic barbecue sauce and caramelized onions. An uplifting taste next to beer or wine. It is a taste to be shared with good company.

It is very hard to resist… and the flavors are divine. Our favorite Nana also uses various kinds of bread from brioche to beetroot buns or aromatic buns with dinkel flour.

The choice is yours. I am sure that you will love this burger.

 

Burger with pork tenderloin and homemade barbeque sauce

We cut the meat into thin, even slices approximately 0.5 cm thick.

In a basin we put all the materials. Cover them with plastic membrane and leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

In a non-stick pan that we let it get hot, add 3 tbsp olive oil and place the meat inside. We shield it very well by turning it with a forceps.

Then we remove the meat from the pan and cut it into thin pieces.

We caramelize the onions

In a non-stick pan that its hot, put onions, sugar and when it starts to become caramel add the white balsamic.

Stir constantly for 3 minutes and remove the pan from the heat.

Prepare the barbecue sauce

In a non-stick pan, add olive oil and finely chopped onion , add sugar and as soon as it begins to melt and caramelize add the onions and ginger. Deglaze with the balsamic vinegar and then pour all the other ingredients.

Once they boil put it all together in the blender and mush it all together.

Pass it through a sieve.

Place the sauce in a glass jar and use as much as you want.

Cut the buns in the middle and spread barbecue sauce, add pork tenderloin, caramelized onions, a little bit more barbecue sauce and close the burgers.
