Chocolate log of Hydra

Ingredients

250 gr Cookies digestive
150 gr couverture chocolate
400 gr milk sweetened
100 gr butter melted
2 tbsp cocoa
3 tbsp walnuts thin cut
1 tbsp Peeled almonds thin cut
For the topping
250 gr couverture chocolate
1 tbsp seed oil

Delicious and easy

The beloved taste that is made easy and fast. For friendly dinners and childhood meetings, it is a must. My friend Tasoula from Hydra gave me the most delicious recipe. She also gave me the idea of making a bigger quantity and putting it wrapped or in a plastic bowl in the freezer and cut the quantity I need. It takes 2 hours to be restored and defrosted and as if i made it at that moment.

It literally released my hands not to worry anymore about what homemade and delicious sweet to offer to my friends.

Smash the cookies.

In a big bowl put the cookies, the walnuts, the almonds, the cocoa and mix them.

In the bain marie, melt the chocolate and while stirring with the rubber spatula, pour the melted butter, and the sweetened milk. Continue stirring in low temperature in the bain marie until the ingredients are melted and homogenized.

Let the mixture cool down.

Pour the chocolate mixture on the cookies, the walnuts and, the cocoa and stir with the rubber spatula.

Oil a shallow rectangular tray and pour the mixture by pressing with the rubber spatula to flatten the surface.

Cover the tray with a transparent membrane and put it in the refrigerator until it freezes and stiffens for at least 2 hours.

For the topping melt the couverture chocolate into a bain marie. Add the seed oil and stir.

Pour the sweet on the whole surface and place it back in the refrigerator to freeze.

With a sharp knife cut into rectangular pieces and serve on a platter.

Pour the mixture of milk chocolate or bitter sauce or decorate with cocoa powder.
