Ingredients

Materials for 6 people
2kg. leg of lamb or you can use front. Whole or in pieces
Sea salt
Freshly grated peppers
1 glass oregano and thyme
red wine or white wine
2 Garlic cloves cut into quarters
250gr. Parmesan
Lemon Juice
1 of each Red and Green Peppers chopped for spores

An incredible festive taste very tasty and easy. You prepare the salads and appetizers and it is simmered and melted in the oven. A relaxing recipe that gives you the opportunity to enjoy the company of your guests instead of being “in the kitchen”.

Custom festive taste purely Greek.

In addition to lamb you can use other types of meat from chicken and rooster to pork.

The choice is yours.

Put the leg in a large bowl and sprinkle with salt, freshly ground peppers, oregano, thyme, garlic, wine, lemon juice and marinate for 5-6 hours.

Spread double greaseproof paper and aluminum foil on the counter and put the meat and between it the kefalotyri, the peppers.

Wrap tightly and put twine all around.

Place the meat in the pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180oC for 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and unroll carefully because the steam is hot.

Serve with salads and potatoes.
