Leek rice

A delicious detox creation

What is certain is that we all need sometimes, to help our body detoxify from meat, fats and sweets. After all, we all make eating habits and we have to come back a little bit.

Leeks are a food that offers many vitamins and antioxidants and has been proven after research to have anti-cancer effects. Also onions, olive oil, tomatoes that make up green rice, are foods that benefit our body.

Green rice is delicious, very nutritious and very easy to make. We can if we want to add red pepper, which is also antioxidant or cabbage or even carrot grated or sliced.

Its spices go well with turmeric, paprika, anise and anything else you like. If you want, decorate with chives.

We add the rice and we mix again lightly and we add hot broth to cover our food and another 2-3 cm.

We season with salt and pepper and we let the green rice simmer in a covered pot for 30 minutes. We want to be careful not to catch the rice and we stir often. If necessary, we add a little more hot water.
