Octopus in wine sauce

At beautiful Trizonia, the hidden island of Corinthian Gulf

The octopus is a seaside special and loved and has a leading role in seafood … It is made in a thousand ways and accompanies the ouzo by the sea … Greek springs and summers ..

In Trizonia, the hidden island of Corinthia with its distinctive charm … the wildlife of nature, the absolute tranquility … without cars, we tried seafood in a form authentic by Natasa Sinini.

We highly recommend the unbelievable Iasmos hotel and for coffee, great breakfasts, original salads and delicacies at Ancora.
You definitely won’t regret visiting it …

Steps

1
Done

We wash the octopus and we cut the tentacles.

2
Done

In a pan, we simmer the Octopus tentacles in lukewarm water just enough to cover it.

3
Done
45 ' and 10 ' boil with wine&oil

After 45 minutes we pour the wine and the olive oil and leave to boil for 10 minutes.

4
Done

Shortly before we remove it from the fire we add the oregano and we let it boil.

5
Done

We shouldn't add salt to the octopus because it's savoury on its own.

6
Done

Let it cool for a while and sprinkle with pepper and serve.
