Eating eggs is crucial to our diet as it offers many benefits to our organism.

We can cook them quickly, easy.  They are among the cheapest foods although they are of high nutritional value.

The protein in egg white is full of BCAAs and arginine, as well as cysteine and methionine.

These amino acids are pivotal for the maintenance of protein structure, such as collagen, which is connected to the health of the joints and the levels of certain hormones.

Until recently, there was the impression that the egg white had all the beneficial ingredients and not the yolk. It has now proven that we should consume both egg white and yolk as there is protein in the yolk.

The yolk contains the most micronutrients  in eggs such as vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin K, vitamin B, selenium, iron, zinc and phosphorus.

It is recommended to eat eggs up to 7 per week and you can benefit from their valuable nutritional value.

We must not consume in special clinical cases such as egg allergy.

Poached eggs with a salad or a tomato salad and feta cheese would be a full meal.

Little secrets

Serve with toasted bread, smoked salmon and sliced avocados. Sprinkle with olive oil, pepper and thyme.

In a non-stick deep pan with minimal water simmering, add 5 tsps. vinegar, pepper grains, salt, rosemary and olive oil.

In a bowl, pour 5 tsp white vinegar and carefully crack the eggs and pour them into the bowl.

Leave the eggs there for 2 minutes until they make crust to boil better without scattering.

Stir the water simmering in the pot by using the wire and create a vortex inside the pan.

Put the eggs very carefully in the pan and cover it. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Then remove them carefully with a slotted spoon and put them in a bowl of iced water for seconds to keep the yolk soft-boiled.

We can correct the shape with a knife or confectionery form, otherwise we put the eggs on a platter with absorbent paper to drain.
