Ingredients

20 zucchini flowers
150 gr. Feta cheese soft, crumbled
50 gr. Xynomizithra cheese or tsalafouti cheese or katiki Domokou PDO cheese
60 gr. Kefalograviera cheese grated
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp. fennel or dill
1 tsp. Fresh ginger
1.5 cup Soda refreshment
1 cup all-purpose flour
a little salt
olive oil or sunflower oil for frying

A special snack…

Zucchini flowers are much tastier and more fragrant than the fruit itself. There are flowers that are the continuation of the zucchini that are the females and the males that come out next to the zucchini have a stem and are large. But they are rare and we usually find them in the orchards and cut them like bouquets…

Zucchini flowers are stuffed with rice and spices or with tomatoes or fried with cheese. Greek cheeses go very well and depending on your preferences you choose the cheese blend with your own signature.

We wash the flowers very carefully with running water and we wipe them carefully.

In order for the zucchini flowers to remain open, we must put them inside each other, otherwise they will close.

In a bowl, we mix the cheeses, the pepper, the ginger and at the end we put the dill and we mix lightly.

With a teaspoon we fill the flowers with two - three spoons of filling, without inflating them. We leave a little space so that we can fold the flower petals and close them well so that the filling does not spill out.
